Ed Parrish: I have been kayak fishing for the last nine years. I originally got into Kayak Fishing with fellow GOPCKFT member, Nathan Wiles and our sons. Over the years, it has blossomed from a fun way to relax to an admitted addiction. Through GOPCKFT and the NCKFA (North Carolina Kayak Fishing Association), I have had the opportunity to meet lots of talented anglers who have helped me hone my skills to become a better angler. Most weekends, you can find me taking advantage of one the many opportunities to fish around our state. I personally love to fish the Haw River, the New River, Oak Island’s Creeks and the Yaupon Reef.
