Adult Bikes:
Beaumont Rev City Electric Bike:

o Electric Assisted Bicycle (E-Bike) – A bicycle with two or three wheels that is equipped with a seat or saddle for use by the rider, fully operable pedals for human propulsion, and an electric motor of no more than 750 watts, whose maximum speed on a level surface when powered solely by such a motor is no greater than 20 miles per hour.
o E-Bikes are allowed to ride on any public roadway where regular bikes are allowed, unless expressly prohibited. E.g., E-Bikes are not allowed on the Multi-Use Trails at Lake Crabtree Park but they are allowed on the MTB Trails at Lake James State Park. Always check with park management when in doubt. Operators of electric bikes must yield the right-of-way to pedestrian and human-powered devices.
o E-Bike operators must be at least 16.
o Registration/Insurance of E-Bikes is not required nor is it possible.
