Falls Lake State Recreation Area: Rollingview

The rolling terrain at Rollingview insures a sense of solitude at each campsite. The campground’s location insures an opportunity for adventure. For one, the campground sits almost midway on the 60-mile stretch of the Falls Lake Section of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, a work-in-progress trail that will one-day run from Clingman’s Dome on the Tennessee border east to Jockey’s Ridge on the Atlantic. And there are the paddling opportunities on Falls Lake, a finger reservoir with numerous quiet nooks and crannies.
