The park has two lakes, one 20 acres, one 12, good for bass, bream and catfish. And, every winter the lakes are stocked with trout.

The park also has six trails and is the western end of the Foothills Trail, a 77-mile trail flirting with the North Carolina/South Carolina border. A great hike is the first six miles east of the park on the Foothills Trail. You’ll gain elevation and pass through some lovely forest with the occasional long view. If you’re up for more, continue east on the Foothills Trail and descend down to the Chattooga River for another 10 miles.
