Randy French is the founder of Surftech and a master craftsman. These new Softops were created completely in-house by Surftech. Since no royalties needed to be paid to pro athletes, designers or shapers, the Randy French Softops became considerably more affordable than comparable boards with soft top construction. The Randy French Softops are high volume boards designed with full rails and fairly flat bottoms. Very slight entry rocker combined with additional tail rocker makes the RF Softops quick to accelerate and maneuver from the tail. These are the most stable, beginner friendly SUP boards on the market for their size -while still offering good glide and performance.
