SUP Boards

Randy French 11’6” Softop & 10’6” Softop

Randy French is the founder of Surftech and a master craftsman. These new Softops were created completely in-house by Surftech. Since no royalties needed to be paid to pro athletes, designers or shapers, the Randy French Softops became considerably more affordable than comparable boards with soft top construction. The Randy French Softops are high volume boards designed with full rails and fairly flat bottoms. Very slight entry rocker combined with additional tail rocker makes the RF Softops quick to accelerate and maneuver from the tail. These are the most stable, beginner friendly SUP boards on the market for their size -while still offering good glide and performance. The Randy French Softops are a terrific choice for all-round use at a very attractive price.

Ron House Laird 12’1” & Laird 11’6”

These Laird boards are among the best selling boards on the market and for good reason –they do everything surprisingly well. A collaborative effort between Laird Hamilton and the highly regarded shaper Ron House, this series of Laird SUP boards share some common characteristics: Flat bottoms for both stability and planing speed, combined with a pulled in tail and hard rail edges for performance and control. The net result is an optimal cross-over design well suited for both flatwater cruising and wave riding. This is the board to buy if you want just one board to do it all.
