Cost: $5 pool fee, payable to MCAC

Sign-up in the Charlotte Shop. Limit 10 per session. Call ahead if you’d like to demo a boat at the session. (limited availability of kayaks & paddles)Children under 18 will need a parent/guardian to sign the release form.

Winston- Salem Paddle Sessions

Ward & Don (W-S Staff) will be conducting paddling sessions at the Gateway YWCA for paddlers of all skill levels. Please supply your own Boat, Paddle & PFD

Raleigh Kayak Pool Sessions - Fridays

Kayak Pool Sessions occur Friday evenings at Pullen Aquatic Center in Raleigh, November - March. These sessions are for seasoned paddlers, working on aspects of their roll and people who would like to try out the sport. Roll instruction is not provided. Pool sessions are adult oriented, although young paddlers ages 12-15 years old are welcome when accompanied by adults. Participants younger than 12 may attend with the appropriate equipment, parental supervision, and with pre-approval by the Adventure Program managers. Pool Sessions are held from 7-10pm.
