Hiking’s Triple Crown
Hiking America’s Triple Crown, 7,600 miles, 3 Long Trails and a Lifetime of Adventure, Presented by Holly Rich & Brendan Curtin.
Did you happen to catch the series of articles in the Daily Progress last April about Charlottesville native Holly Rich’s amazing trail journeys – completing the Triple Crown of hiking? Completing thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail…
If you saw these, chances are you’d like to hear more and if you missed them here is your chance to hear more from both Holly and her partner in crime, Brendan Curtin in person.
Holly is a Charlottesville native and a 2013 University of Virginia graduate. Brendan grew up in Ohio and move to Virginia in 2014. Together, and apart, the pair have completed the ‘Triple Crown’ of hiking, traversing the Appalachian, Pacific Crest and Continental Divide Trails.
The combined 7,600 miles of America’s most prominent long trails brought bad weather, battered feet, abundant life lessons and place the couple in the company of just 300 others who have also walked all three trails.
Please join us for a fun evening where Holly and Brendan will speak about their experiences crossing the county on foot and share their stories of meeting bears, eccentric thru hikers and finding each other.
