A great complement to a fly fishing class, the new St. Croix Rio Santo outfit in 8′ 4 weight 4-piece is the perfect perfect beginners trout outfit. The rod has accuracy and line speed control needed for small stream fishing and yet has the power to deal with wind on a larger river. Our staff couldn’t beleive the value of this $200 package. Redington has done it again, introducing the 4 Piece Classic Trout Series. An incredible value at $160, It’s available for MULEteam members at $129, but casts like a $500 rod. The 9′ 5 weight is the perfect tailwater or western trout rod. It has a soft tip to protect light tippets but can still generate the line speed needed to buck the wind.
