MSR Carbon Reflex 2

msr_reflex2.jpgThe Carbon Reflex 2 is the lightest, double-wall 2-person tent MSR has ever made, crossing the barrier from ultralight to hyperlight. Utilizing the latest fabrics and cutting edge carbon fiber poles, nearly a pound has been shaved from the legendary Hubba Hubba making this the new standard in ultralight performance. The best thing about the Carbon series tents however is what they didn’t take out—livability. Packing 7 ft. (2.2 m) of length, plenty of room to sit up in and a roomy vestibule, MSR continues to prove their philosophy that traveling ultralight should increase your comfort—not compromise it. msr_reflex2_flyopen.jpg

  • Hyperlight: Comparable to the Hubba Hubba in volume, the carbon fiber poles and efficient design make the Carbon Reflex 2 nearly a pound lighter.
  • Fast Setup: Efficient two-pole design is strong and simple to use.
  • Livable: Unique geometry provides maximum interior space, front vestibule and zippered rear window access to rear vestibule.
  • Versatile: Can be set up as a double-wall tent or with just the fly and footprint for a compact, flyweight shelter at just .90kg (2 lbs.).

MSR Mutha Hubba Testimonial from dbkayak.com: Last May, I recieved the MSR Mutha Hubba Tent to use on a kayak expedition. I have used it in many different environments from cold, windy, hot, sandy, rocky, concrete pads, floating docks and more. I must say, I am amazed at how well it has held up so far. It is still water-proof, perfectly functioning zippers, and unbroken poles. Impressive? I would say so. It’s nice to find a tent that is able to work in many environments and temperatures. I would reccomend this tent to most anyone.

moroom2_vest_xl.jpgMo Room 2 - $399.95

The Mo Room 2 redefines the amount of livability (aka - space and comfort) to be had in a trail-friendly tent. Bow Frame geometry is combined with a time-tested hoop tent design to create steep sidewalls and vast interior spaces. A pole-supported front vestibule and a traditional rear one save the cavernous interior living spaces for living and let you enjoy the view – even in nasty weather.

  • Unmatched Internal Space: Bow Frame provides near vertical walls maximizing useable head-and-shoulder space.
  • Gear Storage: 2 StayDry entrances and two vestibules (one pole-supported for even more space) swallow most of your gear and let you enjoy the view – even in nasty weather.
  • Excellent Ventilation: Kickstand vents on fly, mesh SkyLight ceiling panel and 2-way zip doors provide excellent flow-thru ventilation.
  • Quick and Easy Setup: FastFeed pole sleeves are sewn on one end making even one-person set up not just feasible, but easy.

The MIOX Purifier represents a revolution in water treatment. It’s ultralight, compact, and easy to use—with no pumping, maintenance, or iodine required.

Developed in conjunction with the U.S. military, the MIOX Purifier offers unrivaled ease of use and reliability for purifying large volumes of water, making it ideal for outdoor recreation, travel, and disaster-preparedness.
