DESCRIPTION: The Delphin is a completely new design from P&H. The maneuverability of this Touring Kayak is amazing; it can turn on a dime when properly edged. However, even more amazing is how well this kayak can track when not placed on edge. In terms of efficiency, an average paddler can expect to cover ~4 miles in an hour of aggressive paddling.
This boat uses a Foam Core Polyethylene hull material for the one of the lightest and stiffest polyethylene sea kayaks on the market. The Delphin uses Kajak Sport hatch covers, which are the driest in the industry. In addition to 2 bulkheads, you also get 3 hatches. The 3rd hatch provides a storage area within easy reach on the front deck that is ideal for smaller items. You also get an Internal Skeg to aid tracking on windy days. The seat is one of the most comfortable available and the thigh hooks are fully adjustable . This boat is very durable and can take some real abuse.
The Delphin 155 fits medium to large paddlers 140 - 220 lbs and is ideal for playing in surf, paddling twisty rivers or anyone looking for a sea kayak that is super easy to turn.
