DESCRIPTION: The new Necky Vector 13 is a Touring SOT focused on performance. This is NOT your typical, sluggish barge-like Sit on Top. For a SOT, the Vector 13 is fairly narrow and quite sleek -it cuts through the water with surprising efficiency. With a shallow arch hull and relatively full chines, the Vector 13 hull design is similar to the renowned Manitou 13. With a good blend of Efficiency, Maneuverability and Seaworthiness, the Vector 13 handles very much like a Hybrid or Touring Kayak.
The Vector comes with a touring style seat and backband combination that provides an ideal blend of paddler flexibility and comfort. The Paddler can freely rotate their torso for good stroke technique while retaining good back support. A pair of hatches and an innovative tank well cover allows paddlers to easily pack for longer trips.
