DESCRIPTION: The Necky Rip 12 is as stable as a typical Rec Kayak but with better paddling characteristics. The Rip 10 is a better choice for many folks as a first kayak than the typical Rec kayak since you can edge this boat and learn to improve your skills over time.
In terms of Efficiency, the Rip 12 is capable of covering 2.5 miles in an hour of paddling by the average paddler. The Rip 12 is more maneuverable than most any 12 ft Rec Kayak on the market.
With more carrying capacity than the highly regarded Rip 10, the new Necky Rip 12 is equipped with a very comfortable, highly adjustable seat, a rear bulkhead and hatch, full deck rigging with paddle-float rescue rigging and is very competitively priced.
