DESCRIPTION: Ideal for exploring river systems, ponds and lakes, the Dagger Axis is a true WW Hybrid. This boat is well suited for Flatwater Padders who will encounter easy Whitewater on a frequent basis.
The Axis is remarkably quick and the retractable Skeg provides good tracking on Flatwater stretches. With the Skeg up, the Axis is as Maneuverable as most pure WW kayaks. The cockpit is very roomy but has good contact surfaces for edging and control. The Axis is best suited for Class III or easier water.
