DESCRIPTION: The Wenonah Solo Plus is a very well - suited Canoe for Touring use. For performance minded paddlers willing to give up a bit of Steadiness to gain Efficiency, the Solo Plus serves as a high performance Tandem cruiser. Paddled in the Tandem configuration, the Solo Plus is for folks wanting to go fast, far and light. As a Solo canoe, the Solo Plus is remarkably stable with plenty of capacity to handle long, self supported trips. Both Solo and Tandem paddlers will love the glide and efficiency of this canoe. The Seaworthy hull design of the Solo Plus makes this canoe a good choice for those wish to venture out onto larger lakes or into windy conditions.

The hull material on the Solo Plus is Royalex. The Vinyl and ABS exterior is durable, slippery and light. The Foam Core provides stiffness and buoyancy. While Royalex is somewhat more expensive than Polyethylene hulls, for most folks, the weight savings is well worth the additional expense.

While both the Wenonah Heron and the Wenonah Solo Plus offer 3 seats, the Heron should be thought of as a Tandem design that can accommodate a third paddler or occasional solo use while the Solo Plus is equally well suited as a Tandem Canoe and a Solo Canoe.
