John Pugh (GOPC Staff) will be presenting a slideshow from his 2175 mile Southbound Thru-Hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2000. Slideshow will be followed by a AT Prep Overview (he will have his pack!) and Q/A session.
This is a great event for aspiring Thru-Hikers, past AT hikers or those who love the outdoors!

Clean boat and PFD required. This will be an open pool session for individuals to work on their own and receive helpful advise to tune their skills. (Help will be available at no charge for those wanting to learn to roll on a first come bases)

Rollapoolooza is an indoor, whitewater focused kayaking event held at Optimist Pool, an indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool. The attendees gain instruction, swap equipment, share stories, watch videos, test skills, view or try out new product lines, purchase paddling related products, or simply enjoy the festive social atmosphere.
