Lumber River SP

Most people come to this linear state park along the Lumber River for the paddling. The Lumber is one of the few designated wild and scenic rivers in North Carolina and the only such black-water river. The state park provides access along a 100-mile stretch of the Lumber, an area roughly bookended by the Chalks Bank Access to the west and Princess Ann Access to the east.
