Save the date: Habitat Day is December 6
As a wilderness outfitter, we equip folks so they are comfortable in the outdoors. The thought of voluntarily leaving a warm, dry home requires the confidence that one’s gear is adequate protection for the journey. Shelter, food, and clothing, things normally taken for granted, become a priority as we embark into the wild. And for the adventurer, the return to a home affords the opportunity to savor the memories of the trip. Habitat Day reminds us that not everyone has an affordable home. Our ‘Staying Warm from the Inside Out’ campaign spreads the vision of ‘every family in a healthy home, a peaceful neighborhood, in a sustainable, diverse, tolerant, and vibrant community.’
