Next Workday – February 9, 2008 – We will start building the MST from Rolling View to Santee Road – about 3 miles. Please meet at 9:00 AM at the Rolling View MST parking lot and we will get started. As always your RSVP is needed to plan the workday and have enough breakfast food on site for you. (Chick-fil-A provided by Great Outdoor Provision Co.)

We need to send our two blazing crews to blaze the trail from NC-50 west to Boyce Mill Road. This is a 6 mile section; please let Jeff Brewer know if you are interested.

Parking – Please park in the MST parking lot and once that is full use the gravel road to the right of the cemetery. We cannot park any cars along Baptist road due to safety regulations issued by State Parks and Rec.

I’m proud to tell each of you that the final totals are in and we spend 3,733 hours at Falls Lake last year building 11.0 miles of new trail and maintenance on the existing 26 miles. Thanks to each of you for your contribution!

The first six months of workdays for Falls Lake are posted on the website.
