The 4th Annual Wrightsville Beach Sea Kayak Race will be held on Saturday, November 3rd soundside across from the Blockade Runner Hotel on Waynick Blvd., Wrightsville Beach. Once again, Great Outdoor Provision Co. and Salt Marsh Kayak will join forces to host the race, and all proceeds will benefit the NC Coastal Land Trust.

We have a new corporate sponsor this year - The Blockade Runner Hotel . The hotel will be giving free brunch for two to the winner of the 3-mile race and a free overnight stay to the winner of the 6-mile race.

The Triangle Paddle Racing Club and Great Outdoor Provision Co. would like to invite all paddlers to participate in the 2007 Triangle Paddlefest on Saturday October 13th at Lake Crabtree County Park just off I-40 between Raleigh and Durham, NC. (map below)

This year’s Paddlefest includes:
–12 mile race
–6 mile race
–2 mile recreational race
–Clinics taught by some of the area’s best paddlers

Race categories include classes for all types of canoes and kayaks. Like past years, our prizes include stuff you really want, including items from some fantastic sponsors such as the Great Outdoor Provision Co., Immersion Research, Row1 X racks, and Vajda USA. Plus, there will be a raffle to win a kayak from Hurricane Kayaks!
